Curtis Savard Photography and a few hours in Burlington,VT.

I had a meeting in Burlington, Vermont yesterday, and decided to look around Burlington while I waited for the Rail Jam at Champlain college to begin....these are just a few of the scenes I enjoyed. The day was about "breaking rules" and just "following" what felt right to me...I love photographing the world around me, and seeing what is around the next corner!!) If you would like to learn more about me, and purchase my work...visit my website at: www.curtissavardphotography.com. Thank you for your time and the continued inquiries that allow me to do what I love so much.

Curtis Savard and a Battle for Bulington Rail jam at Champlain College.

It was a fantastic evening at Champlain College with a Rail Jam event held with the talented marketing team of Battle For Burlington , the ski club of Champlain College, the creative & professional terrain park building staff of Sugarbush Ski Resort led by Tony Chiuchiolo & Aaron Codling, Rome Snowboards, Red Bull, Bern helmets, and a huge crowd on hand to support the riders and a growing Burlington Freestyle program led by, Zach Hoag. I was amazed and psyched by all the video as well as astonished with all the photography coverage that was on hand!!) I decided to play and showcase the event with a style of photography that gave birth to my love of photographing skateboarding, free skiing & riding by "breaking all the rules"!!) I hope you enjoy a view of my favorite moments and the athletes that created an awesome atmosphere. Tonight I begin capturing a season for an extremely talented young skier that is sponsored by Orage, Drop Prophet & Head skis....stay tuned for an awesome journey for this extremely bright and energetic athlete.

"Good Night from Vermont" by Curtis Savard

I started this day with a landscape image...I might as well bring the day to a close with one. I was finishing up a portrait session from this morning, when Kate & I went for a drive and between the wind howling, storm clouds on the horizon I decided to play with this hay bales by exhibiting their place in the Vermont landscape as the winds played with the grass and brought the clouds further into the horizon. I hope you enjoyed your day, and that your Halloween evening will be celebrated with friends and family. All The Best

"Good Morning from Vermont", by Curtis Savard Photography.

I was headed home this morning from my other job, and the river just caught my eye and I had to pull over and take a look...this image is what I came up with!!) The image was taken without a tripod, as I was kindly reminded how "chilly" a Vermont river can be this time of year as the water ran in over the top of my boots!!) I hope you enjoy your Halloween, and if you enjoy this image, and/or are interested in more of my work visit my website at www.curtissavardphotography.com where you can purchase my work, and learn more about me. I appreciate your time and the continued inquiries. All The Best.

Curtis Savard and my time with Shannon.

I had the distinct pleasure of photographing this talented and beautiful young woman outside of Montpelier, and these are just a few of my favorite images. The photography session was an informal photo shoot with no makeup, minimal lighting, casual (no assigned wardrobe)...I am thankful for the results....I thought Shannon did a great job, and I am looking forward to working with here on a more formal session in the near future. I must say, although this was an informal shoot, I am thankful for the scarf that was provided by Ann of Ann's Weavery ....I am a huge fan of her work, and if you have not heard or seen her work, I encourage you to follow the link and learn about the tremendous products and services she provides. I am really impressed with Shannon's ability to put on a different face for the up close head shot, and again, most thankful for her time...I hope you enjoy what we did, and I am most appreciative of your interest and the continued inquires about me work, and how I can assist you with your photography needs. The park builders "challenge" photographed by Curtis Savard.

With the ski resort and park builder's name with held due to the protection of the resort, and the pride of this king of the hill park builder....I present his challenge to you. I am just the messenger, but his challenge is simple.... can you ride your park to the best of your ability? I personally, hope to see you out there this year as I am photographing for a ski clothing and ski line, but be sure to stop me and ask how I can photograph you for your portfolio, to remember that special day on the hill, or just to go out and make some turns!!! I hope, that if you ride / ski the park that you can ride / ski the park where you are to the best of your ability by "stomping" your run, with style, commitment & safety. All The Best.

Happy Halloween from Curtis Savard Photography

I photographed this image from last year, and continues to be a favorite of mine. I hope you have a happy and safe Halloween!! All The Best.

Curtis Savard and Church Street in Burlington,VT

I love it when Kate & I visit Burlington,Vermont ....I mean to have such a great city within a 30 minute drive...we love it!! I was able to photograph / meet some fantastic people that evening, but thought I would share an image of some kids hanging out during the late hours on Church Street, as well as the lingerie mannequin in her element, that I call, "The mannequins chamber". I was also able to meet this open, and fabulous business owner whom is excited about displaying my work during the winter months on Church Street!! More details to come!! All The Best, and I greatly appreciate your interest and inquiries...it is because of you I am able to do what I love.

Mountain Biking, Curtis Savard Photography & possbily snow for Vermont!!!

I headed up to obtain a few more shots for the Vermont Mountain Bike Association before the first significant snowfall here in Vermont, and had a blast!!! I decided to capture the colors and motion this evening, and really enjoyed the images I have captured for V.M.B.A. I have done no additional editing with these images other than a slight crop, and adjustment in color....man, I love the combination of biking and photography!! Holiday season is rapidly approaching and I hope I can help you with your family portrait or portrait work. All My Best, Curtis Savard
